Outreach at the Heartland Center
In addition to our existing networks and outreach programs, the Heartland Center is always looking for new opportunities to connect with workers throughout Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. Please contact us if you would be interested in a presentation on occupational health and safety topics for your organization, or if you would be interested in discussing other opportunities to connect.
You can connect with our outreach program right now by subscribing to our quarterly occupational safety and health newsletter. We’ll send you OSH news and advice you can use four times a year.
You can read past editions of our newsletter here. While some of the newsletter’s topics are time-sensitive, most articles will remain useful for years. These are a great resource for toolbox talks and your organization’s own health and safety materials.
Continuing Education
The Heartland Center collaborates with partners throughout our region to offer a range of conferences and classes designed to keep you and your employees up-to-date on the field of occupational health and safety. Whether you need to be certified in occupational hearing conservation, earn CEUs, or learn about current best practices in workplace safety, we have a program that suits your needs.
See our current schedule of conferences and classes.
Join our email distribution lists to be the first to learn about our offerings.
We also provide a series of free webinars. When possible, these are archived on our YouTube channel.
If you have any questions, please contact Director of Continuing Education and Outreach Tammi Goerdt.
