Industrial Hygiene
My name is Natalie Pineiro-Falcon I’m from San Juan-Puerto Rico. I did my undergraduate studies in Interdisciplinary Natural Sciences and have a master’s in Public Health, both from the University of Puerto Rico. I’m currently studying for an MS in Industrial Hygiene at the University of Iowa. As a professional, I want to investigate the environmental impacts of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process as well as to recognize potential health hazards of aerosols derived from these activities in the respiratory system. I wish to become a Certified Industrial Hygienist to contribute to healthier workplace practices and impact positively the community. I enjoy going to the beach, taking pictures of sunsets, and going to the gym.
