Claudia Corwin, MD, MPH is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Occupational Medicine, and holds a secondary appointment in the College Public Health. After serving on the University of Iowa Department of Surgery faculty as a transplant surgeon, she went on to serve as the Medical Director for Healthcare Services at the Iowa Department of Public Health. After completing her Masters of Public Health she then completed a second residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Iowa. She rejoined the University of Iowa faculty in 2014. Dr. Corwin works with residents and medical students while caring for patients with occupational related injuries and illnesses at the University of Iowa HealthWorks Clinic. Dr. Corwin is board certified in preventive medicine (occupational medicine) and pending recertification in General Surgery.
