Alysha Meyers and an epidemiologist and ergonomist dedicated to preventing work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Since 2010, she has worked at NIOSH as an epidemiologist Principle Investigator for occupational health research studies. She works in the Center for Workers’ Compensation Studies in the Field Research Branch within NIOSH/DFSE.
Her research interests include: the epidemiology of musculoskeletal disorders, developing novel methods to use workers’ compensation data and systems for occupational safety and health purposes, occupational health surveillance, and data science. She earned a MS and PhD in Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Iowa.
