Regional 8 OSH Manager, EPA
Aimee L. Stark started their career in occupational safety and health while in enlisted in the Air Force. They obtained a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health while gaining valuable experience in evaluating a variety of industries. After their time in the military, they attended University of Iowa, where they earned a master’s degree in industrial Hygiene. Aimee then started working for OSHA, evaluating workplaces for compliance with federal standards. They became a CIH during this time. After eight years with OSHA, Aimee switched to the EPA, where they manage safety and health programs for a total of six states in EPA’s Region 8. They have been in the occupational safety and health career field since 2010, and enjoys using their knowledge, experience, and expertise to protect workers and prevent serious injuries and illnesses.
