NIOSH-Approved Spirometry Refresher Course

This National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)-approved training is designed to provide a review of current spirometry testing standards and guidelines, common errors and corrective actions, and how to differentiate between normal, obstructive, restrictive, and mixed lung disease patterns. This course is intended for nurses, medical assistants, and other occupational health and safety practitioners who are responsible for conducting spirometry in the workplace or other settings. Agricultural Safety and Health: The Core Course

This course, offered by the Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health, provides the information and skills needed to enable safety and health professionals to anticipate, recognize, and prevent occupational illnesses and injuries among members of the agricultural community. The course is appropriate for safety and health managers, health care providers, public health practitioners, veterinarians, and anyone interested in the unique safety and health needs of rural agricultural communities.

The Agricultural Safety and Health Core Course has been the national model of effective agricultural safety and health education for a decade. Expert instruction provided by Board Certified Physician and Veterinarian, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, and Certified Professional Ergonomist. Continuing education credits are available for physicians, nurses, and EMS personnel.

Occupational Hearing Conservationist Recertification Course
