Bill Field, Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Iowa College of Public Health and Deputy Director at the Heartland Center, explains the risk of radon exposure and the need for increased radon screening. Organizations such as the EPA recommend national efforts to reduce radon concentrations, such as wide-scale residential screening. Efforts like these are limited due to budget cuts.
