The Heartland Center for Occupational Health and Safety has recently been rewarded a grant of $8.8 million over the next five years to continue providing services – including graduate training, continuing education, and outreach in the area of occupational health and safety. We are excited to continue serving our region, including Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska!
Funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), our Education and Research Center supports approximately 40 graduate students annually and has served over 9,000 occupational health and safety professionals through our continuing education programs.
Did you know the Heartland Center was created in 1999, as #15 of the 18 NIOSH Education and Research Centers around the country?
