During this webinar, learners will be presented with working realities inside large-herd dairy milking parlors, contributing factors to the development of musculoskeletal disorders, and how direct measurement research techniques are being used to characterize physical risk factors and evaluate interventions in these challenging working environments.
At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe differences in workplace designs of large-herd milking parlors.
- Identify how direct measurement techniques are being used to characterize risk factors
among workers. - Recognize the administrative and engineering controls that are being evaluated using direct measurement research techniques.
