I am a PHD student in industrial engineering with a specialization in human factors. My research focuses on physiological measures of workload during flight and driving tasks, including EEG, ECG, respiration, and eye tracking metrics.
I grew up on a farm near Marengo, IL. I have completed a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS in industrial engineering at the University of Iowa, and have been a research assistant at the UI’s Operator Performance Laboratory since 2007. After graduation, I intend to become an engineering professor.
