Mr. Thompson (Occupational Epidemiology Training Program) is a PhD candidate in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health and the Associate Director of the Center for Health Effects of Environmental Contamination at the University of Iowa. He previously completed a BS in Biology at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA and a MPH in Environmental Health and Global Health at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA. Mr. Thompson has worked in the field of public health for 15 years, both in the US and the Asia-Pacific region. He is currently investigating the risks associated with pesticide exposures among Iowa farmers. He is originally from Joplin, MO.
